Here are some signs you maybe shouldn't be a writer:
You want to do it for money. (laughs in poor)
You want to do it out of spite for/because of someone else
You have an unoriginal idea ("Wolf Born" and "Vampire Kiss" have already been done and made, sorry).
You don't want to dedicate the time. Notice how I said "don't" and not "can't". Can't means you are unable to because of reasons our of your control, reasons that have the possibility to change in the future. If you refuse to dedicate the time required to be a writer, then that reflects in your writing.
Sorry to be the one to tell you, but if you're: homophobic, racist, sexist, or otherwise hateful in anyway; then that will also reflect in your writing. And while you might have a few sales, eventually a few people will start to have a problem with your book series.
